On last Thursday, Pastor Ron asked me to accompany him to go to some places. One of them was Lakeland Hospital. Pastor wanted to see his friend.
While I was in the waiting room, I saw this notification:
Maybe this is new notice. But, too bad for me, it could also mean that I should not bring my little acoustic guitar there. In September 2009, when I visited my friend, I brought it so I could sing some Christian song that could strengthen her.
I think it is true that silence helps healing. When we get sick, we need to calm our mind especially when we get difficult sickness. But for me, I also need some "noise". I need encouraging sermons and Christian praise music to fight back against the diseases.

ReplyDeletekind of ilness like headache,tootache or vertigo (auuuww...go away please!!! i hate if got vertigo), we need a peace and quite place.
but if we got an ilness which is challenge our faith for Lord's courage and strength, then absolutely we need song,sermon,prayer that can make us more and more grow in our believe to Lord's help :)
by the way bang, it is very excellent to make a blog like this.help me a lot to improve my writing on english :)

Maybe the hospital could have a place where it is okay to sing or play instruments or maybe they could give you special permission. Your music surely would help me heal if I was sick.

ReplyDeletebut in my opinion,sometimes happiness can make people healed too.maybe when u talk to them ,making a joke,sing a song with them ,sometimes those ways can be one of the medicine for them..but maybe we must see the case first,,hahaha..
